Client wanted to share out a single internet connection vs having to pay for 28 individual connections. They needed something that would be easy to manage (a non-techie person could fix most problems), and allowed each apartment owner to have their own private ( and completely isolated ) network from one another.
Mobile-app access to the network allows for complete status information and allows for fixing devices remotely(rebooting devices). Since the connection was shared amongst multiple users, restrictions were set so not one user could hog and take down the network. A Smart UPS was utilized for automatic rebooting for critical network components and push notifications when the power goes with an estimated time before the battery runs out (all while staying connected online).
